I need replaced. Working... As soon as we started deleting files from the sdcard the hd would fail to detect. I think you are right in assuming that the loaders are corrupting the USB ports. https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-usb-port-out-of-service.191866/

If it's out of warranty and the port is physically broken, it can be replaced with little prblem, but taking the Wii apart and being able to get it back together

Also, the slot your supposed to put it in is the one on the left side when it's staring up right?Oh, I'm using th configurable USB loader. Is there any way to check? In this way the Wii will recognize as port 0 the upper port and not the lower. There may be some hardware malfunction with my wii if that's the case (unfortunately).

When you revirginize, it deletes all of the 3 digit (hack) IOS, and rewrites some of the 2 digit (system) ones (to remove the trecha bug, etc.). Where can I find this?
