I ordered a new click wheel from ifixit and replaced it. Also, monitor how long you keep it in, check every 15 minutes. Most say they will copy songs from iPod to pc, but not vice-versa. The click wheel wheel stopped working.

Just a little bit! Ipod Nano 3rd Generation Click Wheel Not Working So I replace the screen and now the screen works and my laptop reconizes it but I can't get it past the language part and it wont scroll at all so if its a third or fourth, i do not recommend trying to take it apart, it is very difficult and you will probably break it more, i'd sell it on ebay If I leave it out in the sun in my car, it workds perfectly...Anyone know how to maintain it's consistency?

we'll gt it working I have a couple 5th gen right in front of me and see if I can create this error and see what can cause this oddity.... 02/03/2011 Scrolling continuously for about 30 seconds after switching off the hold function worked for me.
