Why Is The Home Button On My Iphone Not Working


after three to four times of recalibrating it, my home button started to work normally. Anything. It fixed the problem! However I'd like to point out that sometimes those home buttons fail all on their own. his comment is here

  5. Really wasn't expecting it tO, it was progressively getting worse and sometimes completely unresponsive no matter how many times or how hard I pressed!

Sorry to yell but I have been debating replacing my iPhone over this issue. You can always have the option enabled, and choose to use it only when all hope is lost for the actual home button. upgraded to the latest operating system and now have assistive touch - exactly what I had thought was needed a couple of months ago!!! so if the issue of your home button is from a software side this should fix the probelm, if not the q-tip with rubbing alcohol may fix it also.
